Flights, lunch, drinks, snacks and gratuities are not included.

Payment: A deposit of $500 or €400 per person should be forwarded with your booking. Please make checks payable to Walking Experiences. The final balance will be charged in euros at the rate of exchange prevailing at that time. Full payment must be made 40 days before tour start date. If the balance is not paid when due, Walking Experiences reserve the right to regard the reservation as cancelled. The deposit is fully refundable if your tour is cancelled due to insufficient numbers.

Because we are required to pay deposits to hotels and suppliers in advance and will incur losses if space is not resold, our policy on refunds is as follows: The deposit is fully refundable (less a $50 administration fee) if you cancel more than 40 days before the start of the tour. For later cancellations the deposit is forfeit, but any other payment received towards the cost of the tour will be refunded less the following charges: • 40-25 days before the start – 30% of the tour cost • 25-7 days before the start – 60% of the tour cost • 7 days or less before the start – Nil

No refund can be given for a cancellation whilst on tour. In the past we have tried to be generous in the event of cancellation, however we intend to fully implement our cancellation policy in future. Please ensure that you are fully covered by a comprehensive travel insurance policy. This will save you the embarrassment of asking us to waive cancellation fees and us the embarrassment of having to say “no”.
